The Vuntut National Park Guide
The Old Crow Flats — wetlands, waterfowl, and Vuntut Gwitchin territory
Vuntut National Park is one of the most ecologically important wetland ecosystems in North America — the Old Crow Flats, a 5,600-square-kilometre maze of lakes, ponds, and rivers in the northern Yukon that serves as critical habitat for migratory waterfowl, Porcupine caribou, and the Vuntut Gwitchin people who have lived alongside it for thousands of years. Access is by floatplane from Old Crow, the Yukon's only fly-in community.
